Stewardship Day at Antos Farm

August 2 @ 9:00 am12:00 pm
Free

Help us clean up the Antos Farm for our October celebration of its 100th year! Work could include boundary sign installation, trail creation/maintenance, forest clean-up (trash), invasive removal, and even some help planning out the October celebration if you’d rather not get your hands dirty this time. All are welcome! Rain date August 9.

Volunteers needed! You can stay for as long as you wish or participate for just part of the morning. We value any support— even if you simply want to keep us company!

  • Meeting Point: Antos Farm. Park along Marsh Road or in the turnaround just past the property on the right, just before entering the town of Oxford.
  • What to Bring: Water, gloves, light-colored clothing, and tick protection (like permethrin). Tools like clippers or loppers and a chainsaw.
  • Post-Cleanup: Remember to check for ticks. Send us your favorite photos to post on our new website!

It’s a wonderful chance to connect with other nature lovers while appreciating the beauty of this wildlife corridor and making a positive impact. Whether you’re an experienced trail worker or a first-time volunteer, your contributions will help ensure that Antos Farm is accessible and enjoyable for all. We hope to see you there!
