Get Outside with DCLT
We’re lucky to be surrounded by beautiful farms, forests, rivers, and ponds—and caring for this land brings our community together.
DCLT events and programs are a chance to get outside, learn about local conservation, and enjoy good company along the way. Join us as we explore, celebrate, and protect the special places that make this our home—for today and for future generations.
Upcoming Events
Stewardship
Each DCLT property has a dedicated land steward who helps maintain trails, monitor boundaries, and protect its conservation values. From time to time, they can use an extra set of hands.

DCLT Around Town
Community engagement is at our core. Look for DCLT at these local events throughout the year:
Strawberry Festival
A community favorite with classic shortcake, local vendors, and a festive atmosphere. Visit the DCLT table to say hello, check out our merchandise, and pick up information about our work.
Board of Directors Open Meeting
Each year, DCLT hosts an open Board of Directors meeting for members and the community. The meeting includes updates on current initiatives, a discussion topic, and light refreshments.
Apple Harvest Festival
Celebrate the fall season at the Dudley Apple Harvest Festival, featuring local artisans, food, live music, and family-friendly activities. Look for the DCLT booth and stop by to connect.
Member Annual Meeting
Our yearly gathering to share updates, celebrate accomplishments, and look ahead.
Hiking Club
Join DCLT on the trails. We host occasional group hikes in Dudley and across Central Massachusetts. Sign up on our mailing list if you’d like to be notified of upcoming hikes!
Fundraising Campaign
DCLT’s recent purchases of the Kulisa-Tierney Preserve, Antos Farm, and the Perron House parcel are significant expenditures for DCLT, although ones we feel are extremely important to our mission of conserving open space in our community, providing connecting wildlife habitat, maintaining the rural nature, and creating recreational opportunities.
To that end, the DCLT has embarked on a major fundraising mission with the goal of achieving $1 million in one year. We are working with local partners in these efforts and invite members of the community and local businesses to support us. We all benefit from conserved lands.
